Here are some more of my model drawings. Sadly, my motivation was lacking on this particular day but I still was remotely proud of what I did. Each of the drawings have the same issue, the head. While I can decently get the proportions of the body correct, capturing the head and face has always been a weak point that I have to practice.
This painting by Matisse "Laurette with a Green Dress, Black Backgorund" shows that his focus was getting across that it was a woman sitting in a chair with a green dress one. Like his other works, the woman is rounded off but still give a general idea as to the
woman's figures and the basic idea of the expression on her face. It also keeps the model relatively proportioned in relation to the chair.
